First visit and diagnostics
Your first visit at the Ortoimplant Dental SPA dental clinic will be a pleasant experience, and will allow us to perform a functional and diagnostic assessment and orthodontic diagnostics, so that we can determine the appropriate treatment and procedures that will solve your problem in the long run and improve your quality of life.
Upon arriving for your appointment, we will first take an image of your entire jaw – an orthopantomogram – that will help us determine the diagnostic process. This is followed by a functional and diagnostic assessment and/or an orthodontic examination, depending on the condition and problem.
The functional and diagnostic assessment includes taking an impression of your upper and lower jaws, a face-bow transfer, and a centric bite registration, followed by a series of intraoral and extraoral photographs.
In the orthodontic examination, we will take impressions of your upper and lower jaws, an impression of your bite, intraoral and extraoral photographs, and perform a test of the joint and masticatory muscles.
When the diagnosis is established, our expert medical team will analyse the finished models and photos and suggest the appropriate treatment.
